The Manhattan Declaration

IS THE PRESIDENT A MAN OF INTEGRITY

The measure of a leader is the gap between his statements and his actions. The following represents such an examination of Barack Hussein Obama, the 44th president of the United States:

CAMPAIGN FUNDING

"I don't think American elections should be bankrolled by America's most powerful interests, or worse, by foreign entities."

Sen. Barack Obama's presidential campaign allowed donors to use largely untraceable prepaid credit cards that could potentially be used to evade limits on how much an individual is legally allowed to give or to mask a contributor's identity, campaign officials confirmed. “Obama accepting cash from untraceable prepaid credit cards,” Washinton Post, Oct. 28, 2008.

RIGHT OF CONSCIENCE PROTECTIONS FOR EMPLOYEES

"Let’s honor the conscience of those who disagree with abortion, and draft a sensible conscience clause, and make sure that all of our health care policies are grounded in clear ethics and sound science, as well as respect for the equality of women."
