Democrat Gun Control Derangement Syndrome Raging!

He's right. That's exactly what it is.Why aren't the Democrats screaming for knife control? Poison control? Why aren't the Democrats doing anything to control horrific crimes in Detroit and Chicago?If the areas now deemed resistance-free by would-be cowardly mass shooters indicated the presence of guns, we'd see a whole lot fewer of these horrific mass shootings. Put the fear of gun resistance in these people's minds and they'll run out of places to kill pretty quickly. The last thing we need to do is a mass gun grab. The last thing we need is hysteria -- by Democrats or anyone else -- about guns.A gun is no better or no worse than the man or woman holding one. A gun never got up and shot anyone by itself. Neither did a knife, pipe bomb or a bottle of poison. But people filled with rage, anger and mental impairment are responsible for way too much violence. And if the courts would find these people GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY -- instead of innocent by reason of insanity -- that might help, too.Democrats everywhere: take a couple super-sized chill pills, then 33 deep breaths, and calm down ... calm down. Come to your senses. The last thing you want to do is disarm the population and leave millions of Americans defenseless against cowardly, deranged, madmen.Democrats, get right with facts like these:

• According to the National Self Defense Survey conducted by Florida State University criminologists in 1994, the rate of Defensive Gun Uses can be projected nationwide to approximately 2.5 million per year -- one Defensive Gun Use every 13 seconds.
• Economists at the University of Chicago and Yale, William Landes and John Lott, concluded from their study that the only policies to reduce the incidence of, and casualties from, mass shootings are concealed-carry laws.
