Senator McCain, We’re Not Paying You to be Bored
Dear Senator John McCain:Three years ago you told us we HAD to re-elect you to carry on the people’s business in the United States Senate. But just this week you told a reporter you were “a leetle bit bored” during a Senate session, so you resorted to ignoring an important debate and engaging in online gambling on your smart phone.Senator, if the work of the Senate is too boring for you, we suggest you step aside and retire so a more engaged person who takes the responsibilities of a United States Senator more seriously can take your place. Current Rep. David Schweikert is such a person.Perhaps you only take re-election to the U.S. Senate seriously. As one of the senior Republican senators in Washington, your constituents expect to see you among the leadership of the opposition to the big government, freedom-killing, anti-life radicals in the Obama Administration and their friends in Congress. As defenders of the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law, we are doing our part as citizens to defend and preserve this republic. You need to do yours. Or yield to someone who will, if you prefer not the take the remainder of your term seriously. You can either occupy a seat and continue to be a part of the problem in Washington, OR you can stand up, speak out and be part of the solution. Please decide before too much valuable time elapses so we know we either will have true representation or not.Sincerely,A constituent back home in Arizona
