Liberal Judge Upholds Arizona's SB1070

Liberal federal judge Susan Bolton upheld Senate Bill 1070, a 2010 state law mirroring federal immigration law. She said law officers can check the immigration status of anyone they stop.Police can also check if detainees are in the country legally or not.How pathetic that it takes a judge to affirm these commonsense police enforcement practices. It should go without mention that it is in the best interest of national security to enforce our laws and protect citizens from the border invasion.Phoenix Channel 15 "News" deserves an F for biased coverage of the ruling. 15's reporter only interviewed an attorney working to protect illegal aliens, and merely said the Maricopa Sheriff's Office declined comment. This is about much more than Joe Arpaio; it's about the whole state and nearly seven million citizens' safety. There is no shortage of proponents of commonsense law who could have provided balance to the Channel 15 report. But then Arizona's television stations and daily newspapers are not in the least bit in balanced news "reporting."
