House Pulls Plug on Funding of Scandal-plagued Planned Parenthood
Today the United States House of Representatives voted to defund Planned Parenthood. The bill now goes to the desk of President Obama, a secular humanist and an ally of PP who will veto the bill. But he and his values-challenged political party will own that veto. There's no way this corrupt organization deserves a nickel of taxpayer funding. Alliance Defending Freedom is suing PP for allegedly defrauding the government. Furthermore, PP is in court defending itself from charges of cashing in abortion profits while refusing to report individuals for raping under-age girls.ADF attorney Kellie Fiedorek said, “The House has voted the will of the majority of Americans with this legislation, which makes Planned Parenthood ineligible to receive federal tax dollars and redirects those funds to support the thousands of better low-cost healthcare options for women and families. This historic vote recognizes the many issues of a scandal-plagued organization with a long track record of abusive and potentially fraudulent billing practices, caught in authenticated undercover videos trafficking aborted babies’ body parts, and that has repeatedly failed to report the sexual abuse of girls.Obama has collected $1 million from Planned Parenthood in campaign contributions in the 2012 election cycle, making him the abortion giant's top cash recipient. Planned Parenthood officials have visited the White House 151 times in the last six years of the Obama presidency. What's more, Planned Parenthood helped shape Obamacare, which is a none-too-thinly-veiled money-making scheme for Planned Parenthood.Oh yeah, the fix is in.
